I can't say this enough. I love holidays and the food associated with them. I've seen this recipe floating around lately (thank you! A Beautiful Mess) and I decided to try this out. Because I'm currently trying to chose healthier choices, I made this recipe a little healthier by subbing regular milk for almond milk and using less Nutella. As a result, the taste wasn't as rich as the recipes have claimed it to be and it had a warm nutty taste. It was amazing!
Nutella Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of almond milk unsweetened
- 2 tbsp of Nutella
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- whipped cream (optional)
Directions:
- Pour almond milk into pan and heat on low-medium heat.
- Spoon 2 tbsp of Nutella once milk is slightly heated and stir until dissolved.
- Once the spread is dissolved, add the cinnamon.
- Pour into cup and enjoy!
